ABOUT

Career transitions are rarely just a job change; they’re an identity shift.

Leaving a familiar career path (especially academia) can be disorienting. You have built deep expertise, credibility and a professional identity, and now you may be asking:

“What’s next for me?”

I know that question well because I have lived it.

After nearly two decades in archaeology and research, I made my own transition beyond academia. That experience is the foundation of my work today: supporting academics, researchers, and freelancers as they make informed professional decisions.

What I do now

Career mentoring
I support academics, researchers, and freelancers who are questioning, reshaping, or redefining their professional path.

Mentoring programme coordination
I design and coordinate mentoring programmes for organisations, associations, and professional communities that want to support sustainable career development.

Academic copyediting
I support researchers, authors, and publishers in refining academic manuscripts for clarity, consistency, readability, and publication, while preserving scholarly voice and intent.

I am an EMCC-accredited Practitioner, mentoring programme coordinator, community builder, academic copyeditor, and researcher with international experience across academia, cultural heritage, entrepreneurship, and professional associations.

Before moving into mentoring and programme coordination, I worked in archaeology, academic research, teaching, editing, and cultural heritage contexts. This background allows me to support clients not only with reflection and decision-making, but also with communication, positioning, and practical next steps.
